When we introduced Ruth Gumbiou to supporters nearly four years ago, she was new to our bursary scheme and beginning on her adventure of school.
Now, in the last year of her primary school studies, Ruth (pictured with her mother) has received the pecious gift of education, thanks to the generous regular gifts of a donor to our busary scheme. Each pupil selected to join the scheme is different and is offered tailored support, but it can include uniform, books and financial or other contributions to exam fees, food for school lunches etc.
We believe that a good education is vital to transforming lives and we look forward to hearing where her continuing adventure takes Ruth next.
