Recent heavy rains and high winds in Burkina Faso have caused flooding and damage to buildings throughout the country. Fortunately, we have no reports of death or injury to individuals.
However, the Stafford Centre school and orphanage we support has not escaped, with the building currently used as a dining area collapsing (see picture). With just a few days until the new academic year begins at the school, we are launching an urgent appeal to rebuild this in time for the students’ return.
