When this picture was taken, in March 2017, the plans for the next phase of development at Soulyale School were still firmly on the drawing board.
However, one year later, thanks to generous support from UK donors, this view is very different, with construction work on the first new classroom and second teachers’ house underway, whilst more space has been allocated for new school latrines, with work set to commence on them in the next few weeks.
Soulyale School is growing rapidly, with pupil numbers set to triple in the next few years. With your support we aim to transform the school facilities to meet the increased demand, at the same time creating a rural school of the highest calibre.
