For Judith (pictured), the 6 year old daughter of a local subsistence farmer in rural Burkina Faso, school seemed an impossible dream.

Her family farm a small plot of land in Soulyale, close to one of the schools we support and there is no spare money to pay even the small costs of attending school.  However, thanks to the generosity of a UK donor, who has committed to ‘sponsor’ Judith throughout her education, all that has changed and Judith has begun lessons at Soulyale School.

The funding will allow is to provide Judith with the uniform, books and equipment she needs for sachool, as well as paying exam and any other fees.

We are still urgently looking for more sponsors for children like Judith.  You can find more details here.
