The Stafford Centre, a school, orphanage, church and conference centre we support on the outskirts of the capital of Burkina Faso, Ouagadougou,, has been all spruced up, with the help of a visiting team from Northern Ireland.
Gallons of fresh paint and hours of hard work, by both the Irish and on site teams, have left the centre’s buildings bright and welcoming for the many hundreds of children and adults who use its facilities each the week. Visitors and pupils also worked together to tidy up and clean the area around the school and orphanage. This is just one of the developments planned at the Stafford Centre, where a new agricultural project is also getting under way in the coming months.
