At the Bethanie medical centre on the outskirts of Ouagadougou, staff serve a rapidly growing community of over 120,000. A new perimeter wall has improved the safety, security and dignity of staff and patients. Staff had reported that many patients were previously reluctant to seek help when their visit to the centre was so visible to friends and neighbours.
