Pupils and staff are celebrating the arrival of electricity in another classroom, thanks to the installation of these solar panels.
Burkina Faso, with so many months of strong, unbroken sunshine, is ideally placed to take full advantage of solar power. Our programme of new installations in schools provides a reliable, cheap and environmentally friendly source of electricity in classrooms, many of which are many miles from the nearest source of mains power. Solar arrays allow staff to teach new subjects such as science as well as other subjects in new ways. Light in the evening also makes it easier for pupils to do homework etc.
If you would like to know more about how you can help to provide more power to the pupils of our schools in Burkina Faso, please contact us.
