Soulyale School in Burkina Faso can feel ‘cut off’ from the wider world at times. There is no tarmac road in to the community, an erratic mobile signal and no mains electricity or broadband.
However, we are determined to give pupils at the school access to information and inspiration from the wider world and so we are delighted that, with the support of a UK donor, work will shortly commence to build and equip a new library there
This is the next phase of exciting developments at Soulyale. We are well on the way to achieving our aim to provide the infrastructire and other support needed, as the school seeks to offer a high quality education for the rapidly rising numbers of pupils.
We will share pictures of the library once complete and in use. Meanwhile, if you want to support our work in education, please click here
