We believe that good quality education for young people is vital to future development in Burkina Faso. We also believe that education is about much more than books and exams, however important these remain.
Pupils at the Stafford Centre, one of the schools we support, recently had the opportunity for an enriching educational visit to a local sculpture park in Burkina Faso.
At Laongo, east of Ouagadougou, natural outcrops of granite have been carved by sculptors from all over Africa and the pupils (pictured) spent the day learning more about the art on display.
