Great teachers can make transform a child’s education and we want to make sure the students we support in Burkina Faso have the best.
However, working conditions are not easy; many of our schools are in remote rural locations without many of the amenities and services that are available to staff who work in more urban locations.
We have some wonderful teachers in our schools and we want to do all we can to support and encourage them. One of the ways we can do this is by providing high quality accommodation for staff and their families. Thanks to a generous grant by a UK donor we will shortly be constructing another teacher’s house at Soulyale, one of the schools we support in rural north-west Burkina Faso.
