When Shrewsbury resident Sheila Astbury planned a clear out, she decided to make a difference at the same time.

Faced with a cupboard full of ‘too good to throw out’ material, Sheila, with friends Linda Harris and Jan Webber, set to work. They sewed bags, bunting and other useful items, selling them to friends and members of their church and raising over £300 so far for a Transform Burkina.

Thank you Sheila and friends, this is a fantastic result and will make a real difference in Burkina Faso, helping more children to go to school and more communities to gain access to clean water and medical services.

If you have an idea for raising money for our work, we would love to hear from you.  Do get in touch.
